4. Clone to local environmentΒΆ

Open a terminal: in Windows you can click on the Start menu and type Command Prompt, for Linux/MacOS you can search for Terminal. Now move to a working directory:

mkdir work
cd work

To configure the local git client type (change <name> with your name and <email> with the email that you used to create your Bitbucket account):

git config --global user.name <name>
git config --global user.email <email>
Clone your repository into your local environment
git clone <user>@bitbucket.org:<your_project>/<org code>-ciaomondo.git
